Sewer Issue – Fixed

The sewer issue involving West Main to Pattison Ave and Pattison Ave to Jerome Park has been fixed. The Authority is asking all residents to be mindful of what should NOT be flushed including: feminine hygiene products, flushable wipes should be throw away – not flushed, handi-wipes, diapers, paper towels and anything cloth. Government

In the U.S. commonwealth of Pennsylvania, a borough (sometimes spelled boro) is a self-governing municipal entity, best thought of as a town, usually smaller than a city, but with a similar population density in its residential areas.

Elkland Borough is once such entity. The borough government structure consists of one Mayor and seven council members. One council member is elected by their peers to be President of the council. These are all elected positions.
