Elkland Borough residents, on 01/31/26 a water main broke that caused a loss of positive water pressure. The borough has been advised by the Department of Environmental Protection to boil our water due to inadequately treated water may contain disease-causing organisms, which may include bacteria, viruses, and parasites. This notice supersedes the previous notice about the manganese. Volunteers will be out tomorrow, February 1st to leave a notice with each resident detailing what to do.
